Aaron Toffler is Boston Harbor Now's Director of Policy. In this role, he will work in partnership with a diverse array of government, business, community, and nonprofit stakeholders to create an accessible and resilient waterfront. Prior to Boston Harbor Now, he served as the Director of the Environmental Studies program and Dean of the School of Communication and the Arts at Lasell University. He also spent many years as the Director of the Natural Cities Program at the Urban Ecology Institute, representing community groups working on environmental issues, specifically involving land use, development, and open space. Aaron received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and French from Union College and his Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School. He also enjoys camping, fishing, golf, and spending time with his family.
