Kerri Cleghorn Lai, CFRE
Ms. Lai serves as a key member of the Management Team and strategic partner with the President and CEO. She is responsible for raising contributed revenue to support community access and climate resiliency—emphasizing Boston Harbor Now’s commitment to civic engagement, public policy, and DEI, alongside its longstanding work with the Harbor, waterfront and Islands on behalf of Greater Boston. Prior to joining BHN, Kerri served as Chief Advancement and External Affairs Officer at the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum, where she oversaw a capital campaign raising $84M. Prior, Kerri held development positions at the National Brain Tumor Society and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. Her fundraising career began in Boston—as a member of teams at the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Boston Public Library Foundation and UMass Boston. In her spare time, Kerri enjoys exploring New England with her family and volunteering her time to help combat prejudice and injustice. Ms. Lai received her undergraduate degree from the University of Rochester and was Valedictorian of her McCormack Masters of Public Affairs program at the University of Massachusetts Boston. Kerri has her CFRE accreditation and was one of only 260 scholars chosen from six U.S. cities to attended the prestigious Bloomberg Philanthropies Arts Innovation Management program (AIM) based at the University of Maryland.
