Spectacle on Spectacle 2024
Boston Harbor Now was delighted to welcome 550 supporters to our signature Spectacle on Spectacle event on June 12th, 2024. We were honored to hear remarks from distinguished guests such as Senate President Karen Spilka, National Parks of Boston Superintendent Michael Creasey, DCR Commission Brian Arrigo, and City of Boston Chief of Climate Brian Swett. Our heartfelt thanks go out to our featured speaker, Olawumi Akinwumi, CEO and Creative Director of AfroDesiaCity and a leading organizer of the “Soulful Bliss” arts and music festival, which returns for its third year to Spectacle Island on Sunday, September 15.
