Dear Friends,
The last of the snowflakes haven’t deter us from starting to smell the salt water, feel the sun’s warming rays, and hear the call of the seagulls. As the city turns once again to its Harbor for summer recreation and revitalization, Boston Harbor Now’s focus on public access to the waterfront, Harbor, and Islands continues to grow.
We’ve organized and scheduled hundreds of free public programs across the waterfront and Islands for an exciting upcoming 2018 season. Our new Harborwalk Map and public access web tool will be ready for launch in early summer. Meanwhile joins us for Harborwalk tours and Community Cruises as others ways to enjoy the Harbor. The 2018 ferry and camping schedules for the Boston Harbor Islands were just released, and park partners are busily finalizing their plans for many new programs and improvements for visitors to the Islands this season.
We hope that you will join us on the waterfront, in a boat, or on the Islands this upcoming season and help make the Harbor the heart of the hub.
Happy Spring,
