New Year’s Sculpture Stroll 2020-2021
Dear Friends,
In the midst of the solstice and holiday season, we find ourselves looking for light on these shorter days. Some of us find light by looking inward: meditating, spending long hours alone, reading, or taking long walks. Others find it in each other, always looking for places to go and things to do with other people. For some of us, it is a place that helps us shine. On our Harbor, you can find all of this and more.
This month, you can light up the Seaport, enjoy Lion Dancing at the Gate, participate in the Ice Sculpture Stroll, take a Mural Walk through East Boston, and give back to the land that sustains us at the World’s End drumlins on Stewardship Saturday.
Yesterday, we were honored to receive support from Harbor-lovers like you through Boston Harbor Now’s Giving Tuesday fundraising campaign. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to anyone who donated yesterday, or on any other day! Your passion for our Harbor is what drives us to do the work of creating and promoting a Boston Harbor that is resilient, vibrant, and inclusive for all.
I hope you will come and join one another in appreciation of all of our public resources and each other, creating the light that will get us through “the long dark” and back into lengthening days.
