Dear Friends,
It is the beginning of a new year, coming after a year that was very difficult for so many of us. The transition into 2021 is a good time to catch our breath, look inside, spend time outside and open our hearts and minds to possibilities. The minutes of sunlight are increasing as we begin to focus on the future and what lies ahead. Barack Obama said, “The best way to not feel hopeless is to get up and do something. Don’t wait for good things to happen to you. If you go out and make some good things happen, you will fill the world with hope, you will fill yourself with hope.”
We’re were buoyed by the smiling faces we saw taking in the ice sculpture stroll on New Year’s Eve, and we hope you’ll join us for the uplifting virtual programming we’ve got planned for January or take your own restorative walk along the Harborwalk.
Please join us and our partners to help bring in the New Year in a way that improves our lives and benefits everyone.
