Kalimah Mustafa-Widberg

Kalimah Mustafa-Widberg serves as the Program Coordinator at Boston Harbor Now. In this role Kalimah collaborates with Boston Harbor Now’s program team and with partner organizations to execute a calendar of public events across Boston’s waterfront and in the Boston Harbor Islands National and State Park. She is responsible for working in partnership to design community-centered events that welcome diverse audiences and reconnect the local community with their right to enjoy the islands and waterfront. Kalimah has over 10 years experience in the nonprofit sector, assisting in the development and execution of educational curriculum and programs. She is a nature and wildlife educator, and has worked as a teacher naturalist with Mass Audubon’s Boston Nature Center and the Metro South region sanctuaries. Outside of work, Kalimah studies entomology with a focus on native bee biology and conservation. They also enjoy reading, tablescaping, cardmaking, and fashion. Kalimah graduated cum laude from the University of Massachusetts-Boston with a Bachelor’s degree in English.
