Spring is here, and the Harbor is front and center in our hearts and minds. We are celebrating the year’s rebirth with the announcement of business plans for new ferry routes that have been developed and now need to be implemented. As our city and region continue to grow and the quality of commutes declines, we continue to pursue expanded water transportation as a proven and appreciated alternative. Come and hear about how other cities have expanded water transportation at our Water Transportation Panel later in April.
Longer days and warmer temperatures also bring people out on the Harborwalk and get us excited about the Boston Harbor Islands National and State Park. Opening Day is May 18th, so mark your calendars. Take a run along the Harborwalk to get in shape or a stroll for quiet contemplation of our fabulous water views. Soon you will be fishing, paddling, sailing, picnicking, taking a ferry ride, and exploring the waterfront parks, restaurants, and Islands in the Harbor.
It’s all yours,
