Three Buddies by Mikayla Fischer
Dear Friends,
Can you feel the change in the air? During the shoulder months leading into the Harbor’s peak season, signs of spring gradually appear. Everywhere you look, the waterfront bristles with potential energy as native plants and animals spring to life in eager anticipation of the new season. This excitement is intoxicating and made to be shared.
Now would be a great time to take a run along the Harborwalk to see the shore birds start to return and explore parts of the waterfront you’ve always wanted to visit before the summer crowds arrive. Come get your hands dirty with our Park’s Stewardship team and spend a Saturday on the Harbor Islands building lasting connections with the land and its caretakers. It’s also a fantastic way to meet likeminded neighbors who share your passion for our public parks and the promises they hold.
However you choose to welcome the new season, we hope you share it with the special people in your life and make a tradition of connecting them with the natural beauty that connects us all.
See you on the Harbor,
