Boston Harbor Now is deeply humbled and grateful to accept an official proclamation from Boston Mayor Michelle Wu honoring the Boston Harborwalk’s 40th Anniversary. The proclamation, which you can read below, praises the work of our organization, our supporters, and countless advocates over the decades in transforming the city’s waterfront into “an accessible, vibrant, and connected public resource.”
The proclamation was presented to Boston Harbor Now Board of Trustees Chair Meghan Hooper-Berdik on behalf of the organization by Mayor Wu’s Chief of Staff, Tiffany Chu, at the 2024 Onboard Awards Breakfast.
“It’s really a gift to all of us, because the Harborwalk belongs to all of us,” said Hooper-Berdik.
