BOSTON, Mass. – December 20, 2022 – Boston Harbor Now invites the Boston community to the 10th annual New Year’s Eve on the Waterfront celebration taking place on December 31st.
As part of the celebration, the Waterfront Ice Sculpture Stroll will return for its 10th year, featuring creatively designed and expertly carved ice sculptures hosted by waterfront properties throughout Boston and Greater Boston.
This year’s ice sculpture stroll will be the biggest ever, featuring more than 30 ice sculptures for attendees to enjoy as they walk along the Boston waterfront. New sculpture locations will extend the stroll beyond the Boston waterfront area this year, with locations as far north as Revere joining new sculpture spots at South Boston Maritime Park, Martin’s Park, Constitution Wharf, and Lovejoy Wharf, along with many returning sculpture hosting sites. An interactive map is available online for guests to download to help them find their favorite sculptures during New Years’ Eve on the Waterfront.
After spending the day experiencing the beauty of the ice sculptures, guests can end their day relaxing at our New Year’s Eve Midnight Firework Celebration. The fireworks will take place over the inner Boston Harbor between the North End and East Boston neighborhoods of the city starting at 11:59 PM.
